Every year the siblu team hits the highways of France and cycles between our holiday villages in an epic journey to raise money for cancer charities in the UK and France.
This is the third year we’ve run the event, which we call the Tour de Siblu, and we’re on course to raise 20,000€.
Each stage of our tour is broken down into smaller chunks between our holiday villages, which teams complete over the course of our holiday season (give us some slack, we’re travel bods not professional cyclists!).
Our peloton of riders is a mix of guests from our holiday villages and willing siblu team members, with tour founder, annual organiser and member of the siblu finance team Chris Dunscombe leading the way and riding every gruelling kilometre.
The tour has grown year after year, with our holiday villages battling to raise the most money through events and fundraising activities to tie in with the arrival of the tour to their destination. This year we’ve had car washes, mass zumba and even a naked calendar to boost the funds.
So if you see a group of riders dressed in yellow arriving at your holiday village please give them a cheer, they’re riding for a great cause.
